Stop Attacks

Sad days for my country. Sad days for Beyrouth, for Syria, for Kenya, and I'm sure I forget others. I don't pray but I have faith in the world. Faith in people. We will not make the mistake to blame muslims because those who did that, are not muslims. They are indoctrinated by monsters. So we have to be united, and act together, Muslims, Christians, Jews, atheists, Buddhists and other pacifist religions. We have to be strong for our kids, to give them a peaceful world. Take care.

Marcus James

For the Hus Gallery in London, Marcus James exhibited this beautiful set of landscapes. The colors and the shadows are drawn with different textures to make them live together. My favorite is the second landscape, where the colors of the shadows are gorgeous.  You can see more of this project here!

Popsicles easy recipe

For my new website (soon), I'm thinking of taking pictures of my Habitat plates with popsicles. So I need to find the right colors before, and make them few days before the photo shoot. This time, I've tried with blueberries, strawberries, and pineapple juce. I found different recipes on Pinterest but I made my own by the end.
So, you can try with : 1 cup of greek yogurt + 5 tablespoons of brown sugar + 1/2 cup of milk and 1/4 cup of frozen (fresh if it's the season) blueberries or strawberries.
Insert in the freezer, put the ice-pop sticks after one hour and wait 5 hours to eat!

It's delicious and I love the pastel colors, but... they melt really quickly! Damned, I will have to stop my heating during two days to keep my popsicles frozen during the photo shoot...

Shelley Steer

Last week, I made a mistake when I published the post about the work of Louise Jones. She wrote me an email saying that one of the images that I used in her post was not part of her work but was from one of her dear friend Shelley Steer. So I rectified the mistake (of course) and then I took a peek at the work of Shelley. Gorgeous! She's an amazing drawer, I love the way she plays with colors and painting. You can find her work here.

Ikea Hack - Leka baby Gym

Hello Monday! Today I wanted to show you the Leka baby Gym that I bought for my daughter. I really like Ikea products but this time, I thought maybe this one was a little bit to... simple. So I decided to work a bit on it. I bought 2 pretty ikea toys, the rattle cat and the soft elephant. I can't remember where I got the third toy, but it's an incredible soft mouse. But of course you can use 3 different toys, it's up to you, but make sure that the toys are especially made for babies, without small pieces. I painted the red parts and the big buttons in white color. On top of the wooden buttons, I added 3 big leather buttons that I had from an old coat. With a simple woolen thread, I attached the toys. And, for the small pieces which turn, I added some gold masking tape to make kind of stars. I know that babies love simple colors as red or yellow or green, but I wanted to find a compromise, so I decided to add toys which make noise such as the cat or the elephant, who squeaks when squeezed, to stimulate my baby's hearing. Lucky me, my daughter Tess loves it!
